Tristan Acker

Tristan Acker (aka Tanjint Wiggy) is a San Bernardino based writer, MC, public servant and union rep. An alumnus of Cal State San Bernardino’s poetry MFA program and member of SEIU Local 1000 union for California state employees, he makes nerdy, political, stoner music with his crew MetaHuman Productions and other friends in the I.E. and beyond. “Gose” and “No Sleep”

Tanjint Wiggy’s poetry and hip-hop is a hybrid of song and rap, of silly and erudite, of California’s Inland Empire and his mind. “Gose” is a fun boom-bap rap that refers to friends getting into craft beer and finding ways to be social in small groups during quarantine. “No Sleep” is a darker trap rap discussing the Inland Empire’s particular struggles as well as the fast-paced, often restless lifestyle of the speaker.
